Selling Made Simple...

We take in goods for sale weekdays 9-5pm and Sundays 10-12 noon.

For a valuation in the comfort of your own home please call our office. We have valuers covering the whole of the North who would be pleased to come and see you.

Pre-Sale Valuations, Free of Charge...

Our staff are happy to advise vendors as to the value of any item they wish to sell before they make the decision to consign it to the auction. This service is free. Our team of valuers will be happy to give you an honest and fair appraisal of a single item or an entire house contents.

Reserves...

T N Miller will be happy to advise clients on a suitable reserve price for any item they wish to consign to the auction. If no reserve is asked for by the vendor, the item(s) will be sold without reserve and at the auctioneers discretion. Our auctioneers and valuers have decades of experience between them and will work hard to achieve the best possible price for any vendor.

The vast majority of items sold at auction are offered without reserve. Our auctions are well attended and are advertised on social media. Our sales feature live internet bidding, allowing collector's from across the world to bid at our auctions. As a result, vendors can be sure that their items will achieve their full value without the need to place a reserve price.

Commission...

The selling commission at auction is 20% on the hammer price of each lot plus VAT at the prevailing rate.

Unsold Items...

Unsold items may be offered again for sale without notice. T N Miller Auctioneers reserve the right to charge a fee of £3.00 for each lot that is unsold. This is to cover the administration costs we face when processing the thousands of lots we sell every month. If an auctioneer deems an item to be unsaleable at auction, the vendor will be asked to collect it from the saleroom.

Payment...

Our policy is to pay vendors 7-10 working days after all goods have been sold. T N Miller Auctioneers aim to make the selling process as fast and efficient as possible. That being said, vendors should be aware that T N Miller act as agents only and cannot be held responsible if a buyer defaults on payment. We cannot pay any funds to the vendor until we have recieved settlement from the buyer. The default method of payment is via cheque. Direct transfer is available upon request.

Fast and efficient collection service...

As the only auctioneers in the region with our own fleet of vans, will be glad to arrange the collection of any lot(s) which vendors are unable to bring themselves. We will collect either single items or entire house contents. Collections can be arranged from anywhere in the country. Please call our office to recieve a collection quote 0191 265 80 80.
